Where to read what the IBEW is saying, and what has actually changed on the sheets. Statements and press releases come straight from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers's own newsroom — we link to them rather than reword them, so you read the union's position in the union's words. Below that are the dated wage and agreement changes we track across IBEW locals.
Official IBEW newsroom and press releases
Press releases, union statements and policy positions are published by the International. These links go to the official pages — Gulfstream is a recruiting firm, not affiliated with the IBEW, and does not speak for it.

IBEW news questions
Where can I read official IBEW press releases?
On the IBEW's own site: https://ibew.org/news/ and https://ibew.org/press-releases/. Those pages carry the union's statements and policy positions directly, with the union's media contact. We link to them rather than republish them.
How do I find out when my IBEW local's wages change?
Each local's page shows the published journeyman rate with the date it took effect, and the rate and agreement updates on this page list changes as they land. You can also have new rate sheets emailed to you through our rate-update alerts.
Is Gulfstream part of the IBEW?
No. Gulfstream Search Partners is an independent recruiting firm for the mechanical and electrical trades. We publish union wage sheets and link to official union news because our candidates ask for it; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any union.
