$54.32 to $61.73/hr across 2 held official local records.
Held source rates before fringes, not Gulfstream job offers or a single HVAC pay scale. Classifications and effective dates differ. Confirm current rates and project jurisdiction with the hall. Gulfstream is independent of these unions; listings do not establish contractor affiliation.
San Diego hiring runs on life science, healthcare, defense, and mission-critical work. Gulfstream recruits for the mechanical, plumbing, sheet metal, and controls contractors serving those sectors, from Sorrento Valley and UTC to Chula Vista and the East County. Much of this market is agreement-driven maintenance, so service roles lead our county book. We fill data center mechanical roles in San Diego: project managers, superintendents, chilled-water plant technicians, controls technicians and commissioning staff, for contractors building or maintaining critical facilities.
We screen for central plant and process piping, CRAH and CDU start-up, BMS checkout and Level 1-5 commissioning experience, and confirm travel and schedule fit before an interview.
Our San Diego recruiter page tracks our live searches, the roles we fill and published local union rates for the market. The jobs board lists current openings candidates can apply to directly.
