Requirements depend on the jurisdiction, your classification and the scope of the assignment. Check the official Oklahoma Construction Industries Board for current license types, exams and renewals, and confirm any city or county requirements. Each posting states its own credential requirements.
Only when the assignment includes that scope. Medical gas and backflow testing credentials are jurisdiction- and assignment-specific; the posting or your recruiter will confirm whether they apply.
Membership, apprenticeship, dues and referral rules are set by each local and its agreements, not by Gulfstream. Contact the hall directly for current rules. Gulfstream recruits for both union and merit-shop contractors and is independent of every union; our recruiting is separate from hall dispatch.
Held official base-rate records range $33.38–$41.00/hr before fringes. SMART Local 124, SHEET METAL WORKER (HVAC DUCT INSTALLATION ONLY): $33.38/hr effective 07/01/2021.
