Job Summary
We seek an experienced and motivated Sr. HVAC Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in HVAC engineering, particularly in the commercial sector, with a strong focus on large-scale projects. This role requires a local professional with a proven track record and a stable work history. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and engineering of HVAC systems for large commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed HVAC system analysis, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization for efficiency and performance.
  • Oversee the installation and integration of HVAC systems with other building systems, coordinating with project teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepared and managed comprehensive project documentation, including schematics, specifications, and design reports, using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Participate in value engineering processes to optimize project costs while maintaining system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all HVAC designs and installations meet the required quality standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A resident with a stable and verifiable employment history.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in HVAC design software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant industry applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations and system assessments.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with HVAC estimating software and knowledge of cost-effective design practices.
  • In-depth understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
