We seek an experienced Senior Alerton Controls Service Technician to support complex building automation systems (BAS) across diverse commercial environments in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on the service, troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization of Alerton control systems, ensuring peak performance, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and optimize Alerton BAS systems, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network integration.
Commission new systems, modify existing programs, and ensure seamless integration with HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and other BAS platforms.
Act as the technical liaison for clients, providing expert guidance, system performance reviews, and proactive solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Mentor junior technicians, offering hands-on training and technical support to foster skill development within the team.
Maintain accurate service records, update as-built documentation, and ensure project specifications and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in servicing, programming, and commissioning Alerton control systems, with a deep understanding of BACnet communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical controls, and BAS integration. Familiarity with Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, ALC, Distech, or similar platforms is a plus.
Skilled in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project; experience with tools like Trimble AutoBid, Revit, and Navisworks is advantageous.
Ability to lead technical teams, manage multiple service projects, and mentor less-experienced staff effectively.
Preference for candidates with a local and stable work history in the Phoenix, AZ area, reflecting long-term commitment and reliability.
