Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Special Projects
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Overview
We seek an Assistant Project Manager—Special Projects to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you'll support project managers executing mechanical construction projects, focusing on fast-paced, high-priority jobs. Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to keep projects on target.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Provide on-site support as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical construction or a related industry.
  • Understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems within commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced project demands.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working on special projects or fast-track mechanical construction jobs.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Familiarity with estimating software and mechanical system design.
