Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled Senior Alerton Controls Project Manager to lead complex building automation projects in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you'll oversee the delivery of high-performance Alerton BAS solutions, driving efficiency, reliability, and optimal system performance across commercial mechanical environments. Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Alerton BAS projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Supervise the development, programming, commissioning, and integration of Alerton control systems with HVAC equipment and other BAS networks.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior programmers, field technicians, and project staff to foster a high-performing team environment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and contractors, ensuring project goals are met with exceptional quality and technical accuracy.
Lead troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to fine-tune BAS performance, enhancing energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational reliability.
Qualifications
Proven experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Alerton control systems, with strong knowledge of BACnet protocols.
A solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical controls, and building automation integration is highly desirable. Experience with platforms like Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, ALC, and Distech is also highly desirable.
Skilled in using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project; familiarity with Trimble AutoBid, Revit, and Navisworks is considered a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple large-scale projects, and mentor technical staff effectively.
Preference for candidates with a stable background in the Phoenix, AZ area, reflecting long-term commitment and reliability in previous roles.
