Job Title: Service Coordinator
Location: Sacramento, CA
Overview: In our Sacramento, CA location, we are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for the seamless operation of our service office, focusing on customer service, service fulfillment coordination, and various administrative tasks. The Service Coordinator will liaise with the Technician Supervisor, Operations Manager, Service Center, or District Manager to ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching of technicians for a multitude of services including startups, repairs, warranty services, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with management to effectively schedule and dispatch technicians for various service jobs, ensuring operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries promptly, directing technical questions to the appropriate team members, and maintaining effective communication with customers regarding scheduling and updates on job progress.
Manage technician time and attendance, oversee job startups, and ensure diligent follow-up on ongoing or completed jobs.
Handle invoicing and billing, perform local office accounts payable/receivable functions, and ensure timely payment receipt from customers.
Facilitate the closure of work orders, ensuring all related paperwork is accurately processed and filed.
Coordinate warranty processes, order parts, track shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure accurate data entry into the Enterprise Resource System for work orders, customer information, and technician hours for billing.
Maintain OSHA logs, manage office equipment, and ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
Assist with the onboarding of new hires, including completing required paperwork and coordinating with Human Resources.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
3-5 years of relevant experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) service field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of some work experience.
Experience with service tracking software, such as Astea, is highly advantageous.
