We are looking for a Senior Chiller Technician specializing in water-cooled chillers for our Austin, TX, location. Ideal candidates will have over ten years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing water-cooled chillers in hospitals, data centers, and industrial plants. A strong understanding of chiller types, components, and cooling tower integration is essential—preference is given to local candidates with a stable work history.
Responsibilities
Install, Maintain, and Repair: Ensure efficient and reliable operation of water-cooled chillers.
System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other chiller components.
Routine Inspections: Perform regular preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
Technical Expertise: Apply advanced piping systems, valves, and water flow management knowledge.
Vendor Coordination: Work with brands like Trane, Carrier, York, Johnson Controls, Daikin, American Chillers, Whaley, and Multistack.
Qualifications
Experience: At least ten years of hands-on experience with water-cooled chillers.
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in chiller components and cooling tower systems.
Certifications: OEM certifications are a plus; OEM experience is preferred.
Local and Stable Work History: Proven stable employment in the Austin area.
