Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and commission Alerton building automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC equipment and other control networks.
- Oversee the controls programming process from start to finish, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support to junior programmers and field technicians.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and fine-tune BAS to optimize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, deliver technical solutions, and provide onsite and remote support.
- Prepare detailed system documentation, including sequence of operations, point-to-point checklists, and as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Proven expertise in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Alerton systems, including familiarity with BACnet protocols.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical controls, and building automation integration. Experience with other BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, ALC) is a plus.
- Proficient with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project. Experience with engineering tools like Trimble AutoBid and Revit is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and mentor junior staff effectively.
- Preference for candidates with a stable background in the Phoenix area, showcasing long-term commitment and reliability.
