We seek an experienced Alerton Systems Specialist to join a dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you'll be critical in delivering high-performance building automation solutions, ensuring optimal energy efficiency, system reliability, and occupant comfort. Key Responsibilities
Develop, program, and commission Alerton building automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC equipment and other mechanical control networks.
Lead the controls programming process from start to finish, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support to junior programmers and field technicians.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and fine-tune building automation systems (BAS) to enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and overall system performance.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, deliver technical solutions, and provide onsite and remote support.
Prepare detailed system documentation, including sequences of operations, point-to-point checklists, and as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Alerton systems, with strong knowledge of BACnet protocols.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical controls, and BAS integration. Experience with additional platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and ALC is a plus.
Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project. Experience with engineering tools like Trimble AutoBid and Revit is advantageous.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and effectively mentor junior staff.
Preference for candidates with a local and stable work history in the Phoenix area, demonstrating long-term commitment and reliability.
