Job Overview: In the dynamic city of Seattle, WA, we are seeking a Senior Building Automation Project Manager to lead initiatives that improve the functionality and efficiency of building environments. This role involves orchestrating the complete lifecycle of building automation system projects, ensuring they align with both client goals and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct all phases of building automation projects, from design through completion, to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to refine project details and expectations.
  • Lead project teams, including internal technicians and external contractors, ensuring seamless installations.
  • Hold regular project update meetings to keep all parties informed and on track.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for each project stage, from contracts to final reports.
  • Swiftly address and resolve any technical challenges to maintain project continuity and standards.
  • Keep updated with the latest industry technologies and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in project management within the building automation or similar sector, with a track record of successful project execution.
  • Deep technical expertise in building automation systems, especially HVAC controls.
  • Skilled in using project management tools like Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and client relationships effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • PMP certification or similar credential is preferred.
