Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate should have a local presence, a stable work history, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management. With a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management, the candidate should be proficient in tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore. Prior involvement in large-scale commercial projects is crucial.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Assume responsibility for commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from inception to successful completion.
  • Design and Estimation: Contribute to the design and estimation processes for commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Project Management: Oversee project execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Document Control: Utilize tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore for effective document management and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to meet industry standards and exceed client expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices in plumbing and HVAC activities.
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive project status reports for senior management and clients.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management.
  • Proficiency in construction management tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience with large-scale commercial projects is essential.
