Job Summary
We seek a skilled and proactive PLC/SCADA Project Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced automation and control systems in San Jose, CA. This role delivers state-of-the-art SCADA and PLC solutions tailored to diverse industry requirements. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in automation with strong project management skills to drive successful project outcomes while maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee PLC/SCADA projects, from initial requirements gathering and system design through installation, testing, and commissioning.
Develop and program PLC systems such as Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Modicon using tools like Studio 5000 and EcoStruxure Control Expert.
Configure and deploy SCADA platforms, including AVEVA System Platform, Ignition SCADA, and FactoryTalk View SE, ensuring robust and scalable control solutions.
Conduct debugging, validation, and on-site testing to ensure the seamless operation of automation systems at client facilities.
Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external contractors to maintain clear communication, troubleshoot issues, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience considered.
Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development, including tools such as Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
Experience with Structured Text, Ladder Diagrams, and Function Block Diagrams for HMI development.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for complex automation and control systems.
Demonstrated local and stable work history reflecting reliability and long-term contributions to previous roles.
