Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled Mechanical Design/Project Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ventura, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale projects involving plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems, particularly in lab environments and mechanical piping-heavy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pre-construction phase, including detailed design and engineering of mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
Oversee project execution from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Work closely with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the bidding process, helping to secure new projects.
Apply advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems to design innovative and efficient solutions.
Serve as clients' primary point of contact, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualification
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. EIT or PE licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years in mechanical design, engineering, project management, or pre-construction roles within the mechanical contracting industry.
Proficient in Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
Preference for candidates with a stable work history in the local area.
Proven track record in managing large projects focusing on plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.
