Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Lead safety training sessions for employees, including hazard recognition, emergency response, and proper use of PPE.
Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate potential workplace hazards.
Maintain and analyze safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Stay current with safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and hazard prevention strategies.
Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
Ability to develop and lead safety training programs for employees at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to influence a culture of safety.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
Nice-to-Haves
OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 certification.
Experience in an HVAC manufacturing environment.
First Aid, CPR, or emergency response training certification.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Location & Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced HVAC manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, CA. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and management teams to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on safety oversight.
