Job Title: Manufacturing Safety Manager

Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Safety Manager to join our team in Riverside. In this role, you will lead and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards while fostering a safety culture within our HVAC manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Lead safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and management on best practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
Monitor and maintain safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation records.
Collaborate with leadership and production teams to integrate safety into daily operations, fostering a proactive safety culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing safety role, preferably within an HVAC or industrial production environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety best practices.
Being bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus for supporting a diverse workforce.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess risks and implement effective safety solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
Nice-to-Haves
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies related to workplace safety.
Knowledge of workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
Location & Work Environment
Based in Riverside, CA, within a fast-paced HVAC manufacturing facility.
Requires frequent presence on the production floor for inspections, training, and audits.
Some travel may be necessary for compliance training and industry conferences.
