Job Title: Manufacturing Safety Manager
Location: Riverside, CA

Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Safety Manager to join our team in Riverside. In this role, you will lead and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards while fostering a safety culture within our HVAC manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and management on best practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation records.
  • Collaborate with leadership and production teams to integrate safety into daily operations, fostering a proactive safety culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing safety role, preferably within an HVAC or industrial production environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety best practices.
  • Being bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus for supporting a diverse workforce.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess risks and implement effective safety solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies related to workplace safety.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
Location & Work Environment
  • Based in Riverside, CA, within a fast-paced HVAC manufacturing facility.
  • Requires frequent presence on the production floor for inspections, training, and audits.
  • Some travel may be necessary for compliance training and industry conferences.
