Job Title: Lead Plumbing Detailer

Position Overview
We seek a highly skilled Lead Plumbing Detailer to join our dynamic team in the commercial mechanical construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in commercial plumbing projects and a strong background in plumbing detailing using advanced design software.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage 3D plumbing models using Autodesk Fabrication Suite and Revit to communicate design intent for current and upcoming commercial projects.
Interpret construction documents (CDs), cut sheets, and technical drawings to support project managers (PMs) and superintendents with field operations.
Conduct occasional site visits to ensure alignment between design intent and on-site execution.
Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to gather essential information for accurate technical layout and coordination tasks.
Ensure all designs comply with ASPE standards and national, state, and local plumbing codes for safe and effective project execution.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on installation experience in medium to large-scale commercial plumbing projects.
At least 4+ years of plumbing detailing experience in commercial mechanical construction.
Proficient in CAD, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
In-depth understanding of ASPE and familiarity with National, State, and City Plumbing and Building Codes.
Demonstrated local and stable work history within the commercial plumbing industry.
