Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring milestones for design, budgeting, and schedules are met.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients to proactively maintain smooth workflows and address project challenges.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal applications to ensure code compliance and high-quality installations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes and profitability.
  • Leverage advanced tools like Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for project documentation, planning, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing HVAC and plumbing projects within commercial construction.
  • Demonstrated local and stable work history within the mechanical construction sector.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, or similar) and industry-standard project management tools.
  • Candidates must reside in the San Francisco area or nearby for effective project oversight.
Preferred Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and applications, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities to guide teams through complex projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk software tools.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
