Job Summary
We seek a seasoned HVAC Service Director to spearhead our commercial HVAC service operations in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage medium to large commercial HVAC service technician teams and office support staff, ensuring high-performance standards and operational excellence.
- Manage profit and revenue streams, ensuring all projects are completed within budget and on time. Implement and enforce safety protocols across all operations.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of large tonnage package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with account managers to maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction across all service accounts.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to dispatch coordinators and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- At least ten years of HVAC service experience, focusing on large applied equipment in commercial settings.
- Proven experience in managing commercial HVAC service teams and office staff, strongly emphasizing leadership, communication, and team development.
- In-depth knowledge of large tonnage package units, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, and other complex HVAC equipment.
- Preference for candidates with a stable work history and familiarity with the San Jose or broader Bay Area.
- Strong commitment to safety, with experience implementing and maintaining safety standards in a commercial HVAC environment.
