Job Summary
We seek an experienced HVAC Service Coordinator to join our San Jose, CA team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our commercial HVAC service department. The ideal candidate will have a local and stable work history, with at least five years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Managed and coordinated service schedules, dispatched technicians for commercial HVAC projects, and ensured timely and efficient service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing service inquiries, scheduling requests, and providing updates on ongoing projects.
- Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the right technicians and materials are available for each job, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and client interactions, utilizing industry-specific software for tracking and reporting.
- Work closely with the service manager and HVAC technicians to ensure all service operations align with company goals and client expectations.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a service coordinator or dispatcher in the commercial HVAC industry.
- Preference for candidates with a proven track record of stable employment within the Bay Area.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and building automation systems (BAS) such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Bacnet.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, technicians, and management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local commercial HVAC companies and industry standards in the Bay Area.
