Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage medium to large HVAC commercial service technician teams and office staff, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive profitability by managing service operations effectively, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all service activities are performed by industry safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of sizeable applied HVAC equipment to support and guide the service team, including troubleshooting complex issues and providing technical training.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to dispatch coordinators and technicians, enhancing their skills and knowledge to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10+ years of HVAC service experience, with a strong focus on large-scale commercial systems, including chillers, boilers, VRFs, and large tonnage package units.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading medium to large service teams in a commercial HVAC setting.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems and industry standards, with the ability to guide and support technicians on complex technical issues.
  • Preference for candidates local to the San Jose, CA area, with a stable and reliable work history in the commercial HVAC sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
