This role is pivotal in driving the sales of cutting-edge HVAC and chiller systems, utilizing expertise in sales strategies, estimating, and value engineering. The ideal candidate will be proficient in fostering robust relationships with design engineers and mechanical construction companies, thereby contributing significantly to our growth and presence in the commercial mechanical construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Excellence: Drive the sales process for commercial HVAC and chiller equipment by identifying potential business opportunities and developing strategic sales plans.
  • Estimating and Value Engineering: Utilize advanced estimation techniques and apply value engineering principles to offer optimal solutions to clients, enhancing both project viability and profitability.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with design engineers and mechanical construction companies to facilitate ongoing business and new opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand industry trends and leverage this information to position our offerings effectively.
  • Account Management: Proactively manage and expand relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and chiller equipment sales.
  • Local Expertise: Must be based in Orange County, CA with a solid and stable local work history.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in commercial HVAC systems, including familiarity with industry-specific technologies such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, and Bluebeam.
  • Professional Skills: Demonstrated ability to excel in sales, estimation, and value engineering. Strong skills in relationship building and account management.
