Overview:
We are seeking skilled HVAC Ductwork Specialists to join our team, focusing on the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution systems, and associated HVAC equipment for a variety of commercial construction projects. This role is essential for ensuring all installations are executed to the highest standards, in full compliance with industry codes and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install HVAC ductwork and air distribution systems according to project plans and specifications.
Work collaboratively on active construction sites, applying mechanical principles to ensure efficient and effective installation of HVAC systems.
Utilize appropriate tools and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, with a preference for additional courses in HVAC Technologies or Construction Management.
A minimum of four years of experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker, ideally within the commercial, industrial, or facilities operations sectors.
Proven ability to work on government, military, or large-scale commercial construction projects is highly regarded.
Preferred:
Computer literacy and familiarity with industry-standard software.
Current certifications in CPR/First Aid & OSHA-30; willingness to undergo training for EM-385 & STS certifications.
