Responsibilities:
- Construction Project Oversight: Manage and oversee general construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Facilities Engineering: Apply engineering principles to assess, plan, and implement construction projects for a range of facilities.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure construction projects meet quality standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures when possible.
- Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying and addressing potential delays proactively.
- Construction Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of construction projects, including plans, permits, and project reports.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all construction personnel.
Qualifications:
- Local Residency: Based in Los Angeles, CA.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in general construction and facilities engineering.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management, construction methods, and facilities engineering.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
