Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of control projects, including installation, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Work with and troubleshoot systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, Automated Logic (ALC), Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.
- Supervise and guide technicians and subcontractors, ensuring projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure precise communication and project alignment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to leadership and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building automation and controls with a stable and local work history.
- Strong understanding of BAS platforms, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and energy management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. EIT or PE certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio, and familiarity with BACnet and DDC control systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage teams and project stakeholders.
