Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of control projects, including installation, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems (BAS).

  • Implement and troubleshoot systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric.

  • Supervise and direct a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

  • Maintained detailed records of project progress, prepared reports, and communicated updates to stakeholders.

  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building automation and controls with a stable and local work history.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. EIT or PE certification is a plus.

  • Expertise in AutoCAD and Visio and familiarity with BACnet and DDC control systems.

  • In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and energy management technologies.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities to manage teams and collaborate effectively.
