Job Title: Controls Assistant Project Manager

We are actively seeking a Controls Assistant Project Manager to join our innovative team in San Francisco, CA. This role is perfect for individuals with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in building automation controls, particularly those with a strong background in AutoCAD and a deep understanding of commercial building automation systems. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the comprehensive management of building automation control projects, ensuring they meet or exceed expectations regarding scope, timing, and budget.
  • Work closely with project teams to manage the installation, servicing, start-up, and programming of control systems across various commercial projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop, assess, and adjust project design drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any control system issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Engage effectively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction by thoroughly understanding and meeting their requirements.

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in project management within the building automation controls sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD for the creation and modification of project design drawings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the installation, service, start-up, and programming processes for building automation systems in commercial settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
  • Certifications in Tridium, Niagara, or N4 are highly regarded.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in project execution.
