Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Controls Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial building automation controls, with expertise in systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, and Distech. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including installation, service, start-up, commissioning, point-to-point, programming, estimating, sales, design and engineering, and project or account management.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to understand project requirements and goals.
Assist in the planning and execution of building automation control projects.
Provide technical support for installation, service, start-up, and commissioning activities.
Conduct point-to-point checks, programming, and ensure systems meet specified requirements.
Participate in estimating, sales, and proposal preparation for building automation projects.
Assist in the design and engineering of control systems, considering client needs and specifications.
Actively engage in project and account management activities.
Stay informed about industry advancements, technologies, and trends in building automation controls.
Work closely with the team to ensure project milestones and client expectations are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building automation controls.
Knowledge and experience with systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
N4 Certification is highly preferred.
Proven expertise in installation, service, start-up, commissioning, point-to-point, programming, estimating, sales, design and engineering, estimating, and project or account management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Stable work history with a commitment to professional growth.
Local candidates are preferred.
