Job Title: Controls Assistant Project Manager
Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Controls Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with at least 2 years of experience in building automation controls project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, coupled with a strong understanding of the installation, service, start-up, and programming of building automation systems in commercial facilities, including hospitals, schools, airports, universities, and laboratories, is essential. While a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred, candidates with Tridium, Niagara, or N4 certifications will receive priority consideration.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of building automation control projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate the installation, servicing, start-up, and programming of control systems in commercial buildings.
  • Use AutoCAD to create and review project design drawings and schematics.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving control system issues as they arise.
  • Assist in the documentation and reporting of project progress and outcomes.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation controls project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and reviewing project drawings.
  • Strong familiarity with the installation, servicing, start-up, and programming of building automation projects in commercial settings.
  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Possession of Tridium, Niagara, or N4 certifications is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
