Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop comprehensive plumbing and HVAC designs and engineering solutions for commercial projects.
- Estimate project costs accurately, taking into account materials, labor, and other factors.
- Conduct value engineering to optimize system performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Present and negotiate project proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market conditions to ensure a competitive edge.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales, estimating, and engineering skills.
- Maintain a stable work history and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, estimating, design, engineering, and value engineering within the commercial plumbing and HVAC industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Proficient in using software tools for project estimation, scheduling, design, and documentation.
- Must be local to Orange County, CA, or willing to relocate.
- Stable work history and adherence to company policies and procedures.
