We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Detailer to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers the chance to work on high-profile commercial plumbing projects, utilizing cutting-edge design software to translate complex designs into accurate and precise technical drawings. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on field experience and advanced detailing skills to support project teams from design to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise 3D drawings using Autodesk Fabrication Suite and Revit to convey design intent for active and upcoming commercial plumbing projects.
- Interpret construction documents (CDs), cut sheets, and drawings to assist project managers (PMs) and superintendents in understanding design requirements for current projects.
- Conduct site visits to align design details with on-site conditions and ensure seamless installation.
- Work closely with PMs and installation teams to gather and draft accurate information for layout and coordination tasks.
- Ensure all designs and layouts meet ASPE, National, State, and City Building and Plumbing Codes.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on installation experience in medium to large commercial plumbing projects.
- At least 4+ years of dedicated plumbing detailing experience.
- Advanced CAD, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam skills.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance with applicable building and plumbing codes.
- Demonstrated local and stable work history reflecting reliability and consistency in the commercial mechanical construction industry.
