Job Title: Commercial Mechanical Estimator

Location: Dallas, TX

We are actively seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will have a stable work history and at least 3 years of experience in estimating for commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate detailed cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects, including HVAC and plumbing installations.
  2. Review project drawings, specifications, and other related documents to determine project requirements and costs.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive pricing and customer satisfaction.
  4. Communicate effectively with internal team members, clients, and suppliers to discuss estimates and resolve any potential issues.
  5. Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to project initiation.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to maintain competitiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing estimating.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation processes, and relevant building codes.
  3. Proven ability to deliver accurate and competitive estimates leading to successful project execution.
  4. Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
  5. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  6. Proficiency in relevant estimating software.
  7. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
  8. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  9. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for site visits.
  10. Must reside in the Dallas, TX area.

Education:

High school diploma required. A degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
