Job Title: Commercial Mechanical Estimator

We are actively seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will have a stable work history and at least 3 years of experience in estimating for commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects, including HVAC and plumbing installations.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and other related documents to determine project requirements and costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive pricing and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, clients, and suppliers to discuss estimates and resolve any potential issues.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to project initiation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to maintain competitiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing estimating.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation processes, and relevant building codes.
- Proven ability to deliver accurate and competitive estimates leading to successful project execution.
- Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for site visits.
- Must reside in the Dallas, TX area.
Education:
High school diploma required. A degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
