We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager to join our expanding team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a professional with a robust background in managing complex commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, boasting at least 5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Bluebeam and Excel, equipped with a strong grasp of project management principles. A degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is preferred, especially if coupled with experience in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management and Bluebeam software.
Responsibilities:
Direct the complete management of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring excellence in quality, timing, and budget adherence.
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasting to set clear objectives.
Maintain ongoing communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors, ensuring transparency and expectation management.
Analyze project documentation using Bluebeam, ensuring specifications are met accurately.
Implement OST Project Management and Bluebeam software to enhance project execution efficiency and accuracy.
Oversee contractor and subcontractor work, ensuring project completion meets specifications and quality standards.
Build and sustain productive relationships with project stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships.
Enforce all relevant safety standards, local building codes, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Address and resolve project challenges proactively, aligning solutions with project goals and stakeholder interests.
Deliver detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications:
Residency in Los Angeles, CA, or willingness to relocate.
At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam required.
Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management software is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred.
Demonstrated success in project management, supported by completed projects and client satisfaction.
