Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Phoenix. This role is perfect for a local professional with a solid and stable work history, and at least three years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various HVAC systems including large tonnage units, package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems. Our ideal candidate has a background in non-union environments but those with union experience are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of large tonnage HVAC systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet all regulatory standards.
Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding service schedules and system status.
Maintain accurate service logs and reports, documenting all maintenance and repair tasks.
Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and safety regulations to ensure best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience as an HVAC technician, specifically with large HVAC systems.
Proven track record of reliability and a stable work history.
Knowledgeable in the setup and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including package units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
EPA Certification preferred; other HVAC certifications are a plus.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
