Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems within commercial settings, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of HVAC systems, including ventilation and air conditioning units, in commercial settings.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating, ventilating units, including boilers, gas, and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and carry out necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Diagnose system issues, replace or repair parts, and complete requisite paperwork.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, communicating professionally with clients to explain necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development in HVAC-related fields.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC service technician, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • HVAC certification from a recognized institution.
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type 2 or Universal).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working in diverse weather conditions.
  • Solid understanding of the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
