Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the design, programming, and installation of commercial DDC and building automation systems (BAS) to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Integrate and configure leading BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Schneider Electric, and other BMS solutions.
- To optimize performance and efficiency, provide technical expertise on BACnet communication protocols, networked HVAC controls, and system troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system schematics, control diagrams, and programming sequences using AutoCAD, Revit, and Visio.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining high-quality standards, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or commercial mechanical systems, focusing on DDC controls and integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent work experience). EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in BAS programming and diagnostics, with expertise in BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and related control protocols.
- Hands-on experience with control system software, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric.
