Position Overview:
We are searching for a proficient Building Automation Service Technician with a strong background in building automation controls service. This role entails a hands-on approach to service, start-up, commissioning, and point-to-point verification of our state-of-the-art building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems.
- Manage and execute start-up and commissioning tasks for new projects.
- Conduct point-to-point verification to ensure accurate system communication.
- Collaborate with the project team to understand system configurations and client requirements.
- Provide technical support to clients, educating them on system operations.
- Document service procedures, findings, and outcomes for record-keeping and future reference.
- Ensure all service activities are in line with safety regulations and company standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in building automation technologies.
- Provide feedback to the design and engineering team for system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in building automation controls service, including start-up, commissioning, and point-to-point verification.
- Must be local to Omaha, NE.
- Demonstrated stable work history.
- In-depth understanding of building automation systems and their components.
- Ability to diagnose complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
