Location: Reno, NV

Job Overview:

In the dynamic city of Reno, we are looking for an experienced Controls Project Manager to lead our Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing high-impact projects in a stable and growth-oriented environment. You will oversee the full lifecycle of controls projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of controls and building automation system projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all projects meet internal standards and client expectations.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, engineers, and installation teams.
Ensure technical solutions are implemented accurately and effectively, optimizing building operations and energy efficiency.
Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to ensure all team members are aligned with project objectives.
Manage and mitigate project risks, anticipating potential challenges and developing appropriate solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards affecting building automation systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in controls or building automation systems.
Deep technical understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and operations.
Proficiency with BAS software and tools, such as Honeywell, Siemens, or Johnson Controls.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and managing client relationships.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
