Position Overview:
As a BAS Controls Technician, you will be crucial in designing, installing, and optimizing building automation systems to ensure the highest performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Implement, calibrate, and maintain various building automation systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Point-to-Point Testing: Conduct thorough tests on all devices and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient functionality.
- Programming & Integration: Leverage your expertise to program, integrate, and commission a range of automation controls in diverse settings.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly and efficiently diagnose issues, performing necessary repairs to minimize system downtimes.
- Client Consultation: Engage directly with clients to provide expert advice, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate this knowledge into on-the-job applications.
Qualifications:
- Residency in the Orange County area.
- Demonstrable stable work history, highlighting dedication and longevity.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in building automation controls, encompassing installation, service, point-to-point testing, and programming.
- Tridium Niagara N4 certification is highly regarded.
- Exceptional technical acumen related to mechanical and electrical systems within building automation.
- Adeptness at reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills complemented by keen attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both in written and spoken forms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team framework.
- Valid driver's license.
