Position Summary
We seek a highly skilled and experienced BAS Controls Service Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong Building Automation Systems (BAS) background, focusing on service project management. This role requires a deep understanding of various control systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead complex service projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of BAS controls service projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
- Utilize your knowledge of BACnet, DDC controls, and various control systems, including Tritium, Dystype, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls, Metasys, and others, to deliver high-quality service projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining strong relationships. Address client concerns and provide solutions promptly.
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to procure necessary equipment and services, ensuring that all project components meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and budgets. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- At least five years of experience in BAS controls service project management, with a stable work history.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. An EIT or PE license is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio, with solid knowledge of BACnet and DDC controls, and experience with control systems such as Tritium, Dystype, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls, Metasys, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
