Job Title: BAS Assistant Project Manager
Location: Seattle, WA

Job Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive BAS (Building Automation Systems) Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordinating, and executing of building automation projects in the commercial mechanical construction industry. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders, contributing to cutting-edge HVAC, energy management, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, and Schneider Electric and a foundational understanding of DDC and BACnet protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and managing BAS projects, ensuring all phases—from design to commissioning—meet client expectations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement building automation systems, seamlessly integrating HVAC, lighting, and energy management technologies.
  • Develop and review system drawings, schematics, and submittals using AutoCAD, Revit, and Visio—support troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to BAS components.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, maintaining clear communication and meeting project milestones.
  • Prepare project documentation, track schedules, monitor budgets, and report progress to the Project Manager, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in BAS or controls project support, preferably in the commercial mechanical construction sector.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with BAS platforms like Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric. Working knowledge of BACnet and DDC protocols and tools like AutoCAD, Visio, and Revit.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proven track record of stable and local work history in the Seattle area is required, demonstrating a commitment to long-term growth and project success.
