The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in building management systems (BMS), BACnet protocols, and advanced automation platforms to drive superior project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, programming, and deployment of advanced building automation systems (BAS) and DDC controls, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Manage control system installation, commissioning, and optimization across commercial HVAC, chiller, boiler, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Oversee and troubleshoot BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Schneider Electric, and BACnet-based systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to develop automation strategies, system schematics, and control sequences.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring system performance, diagnosing issues, and optimizing system efficiency.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building automation, DDC controls, and HVAC system integration within commercial mechanical construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (EIT or PE preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, and control system programming, with expertise in BACnet communication protocols and system networking.
- Strong understanding of energy management, remote monitoring, and control system analytics for HVAC applications.
