We seek a highly skilled Automation Engineer specializing in Schneider Electric Modicon PLC systems to join our dynamic San Jose, CA team. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Schneider Electric Modicon PLC systems and SCADA solutions, ensuring optimal performance for industrial automation projects.
  • Interpret customer requirements and create detailed technical specifications for electrical equipment and automation solutions.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring seamless on-site integration and operation.
  • Design and implement HMI applications using the AVEVA System Platform, ensuring intuitive interfaces and robust performance.
  • Work closely with project teams to deliver complex automation projects on time, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience with Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure Control Expert, and SCADA platforms such as EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation and AVEVA System Platform.
  • Expertise in PLC programming languages (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Ladder Diagram) and SQL scripting. Familiarity with programming languages.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial automation environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of consistent, reliable employment within the local area is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with additional platforms such as Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Studio 5000) and Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA.
  • Experience with advanced HMI design and system debugging.
