Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with client objectives.
- Help develop comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Support the Project Manager in conducting site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status.
- Local to Phoenix, AZ, with a stable work history.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management, with exposure to large-scale projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rises.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems and their application in large projects.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
