Job Title: Assistant HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to contribute to the successful execution of commercial mechanical construction projects in the San Francisco, CA, area. This role focuses on managing and supporting HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale projects, offering significant growth potential in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. A stable and local work history and relevant technical experience are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review HVAC, sheet metal, and plumbing plans, manage submittals, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor budgets, prepare cost estimates, and oversee procurement processes to maintain project efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve project challenges and ensure goal alignment.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain quality control.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical project management with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal systems.
  • Technical proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems, including Tridium Niagara, Bacnet, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric.
  • Must have a local and stable work history in San Francisco, CA.
