Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead HVAC Project Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all HVAC project activities to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project timelines, cost estimates, and required resources.
  • Interface with clients, suppliers, and contractors to meet project milestones and address any arising challenges.
  • Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and construction crews.
  • Attend project meetings, capturing detailed notes and action items for follow-up.
  • Use project management software and tools to manage resources, monitor budgets, and generate progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, industry standards, and company best practices.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential project challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Must be local to Norfolk, VA.
  • Stable employment history reflecting consistent professional growth and dedication.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering).
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and other related tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a solid client-focused attitude.
