Senior Project Manager - Commercial HVAC & Plumbing

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in commercial HVAC and plumbing projects to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This pivotal role demands expertise in managing substantial projects such as hospitals, data centers, schools, and high-rises. The ideal candidate will be a local professional, demonstrating a stable work history and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the complete lifecycle of large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless execution and adherence to technical standards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure project safety.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of project management processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and quality of outcomes.
  • Foster strong client relationships, maintaining effective communication and ensuring client satisfaction through project completion.

Requirements:

  • Proven local residency with a stable work history.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, including but not limited to hospitals, schools, and data centers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred; substantial field experience also considered.
  • Deep understanding of industry-specific technologies such as building automation systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys) and proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience with advanced construction management practices and methodologies.
