Job Description:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of plumbing systems for various commercial projects, while collaborating with other professionals and managing project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the design and implementation of commercial plumbing systems from concept to completion.

  2. Develop and review detailed engineering plans and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.

  3. Coordinate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with project objectives.

  4. Supervise construction phases to verify adherence to design plans and specifications.

  5. Perform system analysis, suggest improvements, and generate comprehensive reports.

  6. Keep abreast of local and national building codes and regulations.

  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  8. Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and opening doors for future project opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  2. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  3. Minimum of 8 years of commercial plumbing design engineering experience.

  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

  5. Proven experience in project management.

  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  7. Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of building codes and regulations.

  8. Stable work history.
