Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will be a resident with a stable work history and extensive experience working with various HVAC equipment. This role requires an individual with strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various HVAC systems, including, but not limited to, large-tonnage applied equipment, package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, and parts used.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage time effectively to meet service schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Must reside in or near Orange, CA.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service, focusing on large tonnage applied equipment.
  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • A clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated stable work history with a track record of reliability and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with companies like Southland Industries, ACCO, or similar organizations.
  • Additional certifications in HVAC technology or related fields.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainable HVAC practices.
