Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various HVAC systems, including, but not limited to, large-tonnage applied equipment, package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, and parts used.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage time effectively to meet service schedules and deadlines.
- Must reside in or near Orange, CA.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service, focusing on large tonnage applied equipment.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- A clean driving record is mandatory.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated stable work history with a track record of reliability and professional growth.
- Experience working with companies like Southland Industries, ACCO, or similar organizations.
- Additional certifications in HVAC technology or related fields.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainable HVAC practices.
